Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesThe Fetzer flagship varietal is zinfandel (first commercial release 1968). One third Paso Robles for body, Mendocino for fruit and Amador for spice. The wine spends 11 months in new and used (mostly) American oak and the winery with some petite sirah to bolster the wine's colour and structure. Fresh fruit style.
