Rosemount Shiraz 1998
South Eastern Australia, AustraliaThe final red and the label that built Rosemount is shiraz coming from McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Mudgee. The aroma is vibrant and lively with an excellent varietal definition of warm spices, brambles and dark plums. This is sup-ported by fine-grained tannins and a delicious underlay of toasty American oak. polished and silky, featuring sweet blackberry and anise flavors, with a slight bite of pepper on the light finish. Not as big and rich as previous vintages, but seductive nonetheless. 302349 Tasted: 01 March 2001Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $19.95 | 750ml |
