Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru 1999
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceLovely nose. Open ripe apple with melon fruit, flint and mineral lees character and a wisp of smoke underneath. Skinny profile in the mouth. Lots of flavour (apples butter citrus) and intensity but quite a dry, if persistent finish. It needs another year or tow to really hit its stride. Fine potential.Tasted: 21 March 2001Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $59.95 | 750ml |
