Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileFairly intense cassis, spicy vanilla and berry jam on the nose. This wine benefits from the perfect '97 vintage. The palate is earthy and peppery with some berry jam but the tannins are soft and round. Good intensity and balance but not cheap.
