Chablis, Burgundy, FranceThe first of two Premier Cru tasted was the Fourchaume. It has a floral buttery toasted lees aroma with green apple and mineral underscoring. It is much rounder in the mouth showing the elegance of a true Premier Cru. Butter and lees are the predominate flavours that make me think of serving this with grilled sole and some lemon wedges.
