South Australia, AustraliaPadthaway, McLaren Vale and Clare Valley fruit make up the 95 Eileen Shiraz. It has a big inky dark color. Absolutely first class on the nose - ripe blackberry jam, pepper, smoke, spices, eucalyptus/licorice. Intense fruit flavours from stem to stern. Surely one of the best reds made in Australia. Ripe plum, blackberry fruit, long balanced classy finish of spices, vanilla, licorice, blackberry, very ripe tannins. A must buy if the best is what you want. Stephen Pannell's first effort.
