Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 1994
Napa Valley, California, United StatesIntense cherry, slightly purple color. Spicy, olive, mint, black berry jam, cassis and dusty earth aromas. Rich and concentrated, the tannins are quite substantial and somewhat austere, quite Bordeaux in style. Big black berry jam, spice, vanilla, chocolate and pepper flavours, this is a much tighter, leaner wine that may be going into the typical Cabernet backward stage now. It is much less fleshy than the Oakville so put this away for quite a few years while enjoying the former. Should be great.Tasted: 01 May 1997Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $75.00 | 750ml | Specialty |
