Wynns Coonawarra Estate John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 1993
Coonawarra, South Australia, AustraliaA cool year in Coonawarra but quite good for Riddoch. Intense peppery, cedar, tobacco, rootsy aromas with some barnyard, waxy cassis tones, good complexity. Somewhat tannic and acidic at this point, with dry, tight tannin structure. Very peppery, earthy, olive tobacco and cassis flavours, some orange rind and caramel in the finish. High acidity, a bit disjointed but should improve with 2-4 years of ageing. Vertical tasting (WA)Tasted: 01 March 1996Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $80.00 | 750ml |
