Of course we chose the busiest wine week of the year in Vancouver to launch the new version of Gismondi on Wine.
We figured it was fitting timing, with tens of thousands of additional wine bottles and wine lovers floating around the city. We are rolling things out in stages, starting with what we feel is most important – the reviews – all 22,000 of them. We have also started migrating across some of the thousands of articles I’ve compiled over the past years, and will be introducing new, regular articles from our team, Treve Ring, Jim Tobler, Allison Spurrell and Stuart Tobe. Over the coming weeks we will be introducing brand new features to the site, making your interaction with the wine world above and beyond what you think a website can do. None of this would be possible without Mark Taylor at MTCS and the incredibly talented (and patient) creative team at Toolbox Design, and the database skills of GOW partner Earl Paxton. While the website is working out the creases, you’ll find us at Wine Fest from early morning through late night, tasting, talking and reporting for you. As always, but especially now on the cusp of the new chapter, thanks again for visiting Gismondi on Wine where the scores are about the wines, not the reviewers.
