Anthony Gismondi on Wine

COVID-19 has changed the world in ways we couldn't have imagined six weeks ago, and where the wine business will be in six months is impossible to know.

For now, we are coping with physical distancing and finding a way to operate GOW with a lot less sociability in what is a highly social business. We are trying to keep it normal, releasing daily tasting notes from our home offices, and where possible, staying in touch digitally with producers who have a story to tell. This week, we launch our first, physically-distant video interview with Argentine wine icon Laura Catena. Bodega Catena Zapata was just awarded The World's Most Admired Wine Brand by Drinks International Magazine. It's part of our extensive April 23 newsletter that will also feature 20 BC wines and 20 imports under $20, a story on a project for aspiring garagiste winemakers in the South Okanagan, our team picks, and more. To get your copy subscribe here, and then help us spread the word to wine drinkers in your circle. #weareallinthistogether.
