Westbank, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia - July 22, 2008 - Mission Hill Family Estate, the leading premium wine company in Canada, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shauna Hansen as Vice President of Sales for wine.  Formerly with Fosters Wine Estates as Western VP of Sales, Shauna has over two decades of sales and marketing experience in the beverage business.  In her new role, she will be responsible for domestic and international sales for Mission Hill Family Estate and Artisan Wine Co.

Previously with Fosters (Beringer/Blass), Shauna has an extensive background in building a professional sales organization and in creating deep channel and account penetration for over 20 wine brands in Western Canada.  While there, she was responsible for helping establish some of the top Australian wine brands in the Canadian market including Lindemans, Penfolds and Rosemount.  She has held senior sales and marketing roles at Southcorp Wines Canada and Rosemount Estates Wines.

Shauna first began her sales and marketing career working for popular US and local wine companies including Ernest and Julio Gallo and Andres Wines.
