Robson Street Hefeweizen is unfiltered wheat ale with a very pale gold colour with a light, creamy head. The nose is a mix of earthy, spicy, citrus and pear notes with some malty grain touches in the background. It is dry, fresh and crisp on the palate, light in style with spicy, clove, mint, earthy pear flavours and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Fairly high carbonation but light, simple and refreshing. Made for a hot summer's day. Serve with a lemon slice. (2004-06-04 by AG-ST)
