Praise from Our Clients
"A wonderful compilation of sensory experiences. From vineyards to exquisite chateaux and fine cooking and dining. From grapes to the bottle, it was completely covered. It just doesn't get better than this!"
Bruce and Janis Morrison, BordeauxoParis 2001
"The Bordeaux-Paris trip exceeded our expectations. You offered us the opportunity to meet people, see things & places that ordinary mortals would never have access to. Peter, Kim and I wish to thank you for a wonderful experience."
Ene and Kimberly McGregor, BordeauxoParis 2001
"This tour to Italy has been the best trip that we have taken ever. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. No words can describe how much we enjoyed this wonderful experience."
Blaine & Cindy Kunz, TuscanyoPiedmont 2002
"I have thoroughly enjoyed two trips of gourmet indulgence with Peter Blattmann - Italy 2002 and Spain 2003. Peter ensures that the tours are well organized and provide the best in wine, food, and accommodation. I have numerous truly remarkable memories - e.g. the "day of truffles" which included a truffle hunt, a visit to the truffle market and an exceptional 7-course dinner highlighting the white truffle at Il Vicoletto, a Michelin starred restaurant in Alba (Piedmont). Peter's connections gave us the rare opportunity to meet and talk with the countries' leading chefs, winemakers, and other food personalities -- e.g. tasting 12, 25, and 50 year old balsamic vinegar and lunch with the owner Ermes Malpighi (Modena), featuring his wonderful balsamic vinegar in each course; a cooking class and a phenomenal 12-course lunch with chef Andoni Luis Aduriz at Mugaritz, a Michelin starred restaurant (San Sebastian); wine tastings at some of the world's most famous wineries that are generally not accessible to the public e.g. with Franco Biondi Santi and Marchese Piero Antinori (Tuscany); with Roberto Bava, Fiorenzo Dogliani of Batasiolo and at A Gaja (Piedmont); with legendary Alejandro Fernandez of Pesquera and at Vega Sicilia (Ribera del Duero); and Juan Carlos Lopez de Lacalle at Artadi (Rioja). Being more of a "foodie" than a wine enthusiast, I have found these trips an excellent way to experience the gastronomic treasures of a country and to learn about winemaking and the appreciation of fine wines."
