Westbank, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, July 19, 2007 - Mission Hill Family Estate Winery announced today that Daniel Zepponi has been named President, effective July 1, 2007.  In this leadership role, Zepponi will oversee all operations of the family-owned winery, including viticulture, winemaking, sales, marketing and hospitality.

Mission Hill Appoints New President

Westbank, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, July 19, 2007 - Mission Hill Family Estate Winery announced today that Daniel Zepponi has been named President, effective July 1, 2007.  In this leadership role, Zepponi will oversee all operations of the family-owned winery, including viticulture, winemaking, sales, marketing and hospitality.

 

Zepponi joins Mission Hill Family Estate from Foster's Wine Estates, where he spent more than nine years in a variety of strategic management roles. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President leading winemaking and vineyard management for some of California's most prestigious wine brands, including Beringer, Etude, Chateau St. Jean and Stags' Leap Winery.

 

Anthony von Mandl, Proprietor of Mission Hill Family Estate is excited that Zepponi, a Napa Valley native, is taking on this role. "After an eighteen month worldwide search, we are thrilled that Dan is joining us.  He will work alongside our strong team, including chief winemaker John Simes and renowned international consultants Michel Rolland and Pascal Chatonnet, to build Mission Hill and the Okanagan Valley to new heights."
