Meet Your Match has the 2011 VPIWF's Best Wine

I'm hosting "Meet Your Match" Saturday, April 02 at the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival at VCC East, meeting room 8, 999 Canada Place Way 5:00-6:45 pm.

They festival wants you to pay $75 to join us and find your perfect wine, get up, close and personal with fascinating international winery principals, and discover first-hand the intimate secrets of some of the world's outstanding wines and wineries. Based on the speed dating model, the event will deliver a fresh twist on the standard wine seminar. Meet Your Match will be presented in a format that allows small groups direct and personal interaction with the wine's winery producer. The group will have about 6 minutes with each producer to taste their wine, hear their story and ask any questions they like.

Here's what the Wine Festival isn't telling you about Meet Your Match and I'm not sure why.

May I present the principals and the wines I have chosen. That's $75 for a chance to taste $1000 or more worth of wine and you personally meet some of the most interesting people in the wine business one-on-one for six to seven minutes. You might still be able to get a ticket at 604-873-3311 .
