Last Minute Holiday Wines

By: Treve Ring
All you need to know to drink well

It's December 23 - less than 48 hours until Christmas - and you need to pick up the perfect wine for your brunch / dinner / gift / celebration?

We can help. There's never an excuse to drink bad wine, at any price point, and it's just as easy to purchase a delicious wine as it is a boring one. Anthony has a handy shopping list of widely available wines for Christmas dinner (matched to the mains) over at The Pique, and has outlined some different dinner suggestions based on your favourite grapes, on The Vancouver Sun. If you're looking for fizz, well done. If you're not, you should be. Here is the link to our 2015 Champagne Annual, with nearly 50 reviews, while over on WineAlign, we share a dozen memorable sparkling wines tasted throughout 2015. Of course, we've been recommending one wine daily on Instagram & Twitter all month via our Holiday Survival Guide - and will continue to bring you highlights through to New Year's Day. Cheers ~
