Anthony Gismondi on Wine

Welcome 2016.

It's a new year, and time for setting goals. Our GOW goal is to focus on wines that matter. We've always been promoting singular, interesting wines, wines from a place, wines with a story. These are what are important to us and this year we're renewed in our efforts to bring you even more. In BC, that means shining a stronger light on products outside of the BCLS system and ones from private stores and independent wineries. We will continue to travel and taste around the wine world, getting a global perspective on what is really happening, and sharing that with you. In the next six weeks we will be in New Zealand, California and Argentina, all before we settle back in the city for Vancouver International Wine Festival. Up until then, keep an eye on our Italian focus, with dozens of new Italian wine reviews queued before VIWF kicks off on February 20. Follow along on Instagram & Twitter to see what's in the glass.
