Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Semillon 2025

Hunter, New South Wales, AustraliaFrom a selection of top Semillon vineyards around the Hunter Valley, predominantly dry grown, with an average vine age of 40 years. The wine was pressed and fermented in stainless, where it remained for a few months on lees. This is bright and sprightly on its feet at 10.4%, with lemon verbena, lemongrass, crunchy green apple sliding along its slight frame, all lit with a subtle buzziness that lingers on the bone dry finish. Just a baby, it's worth buying some to enjoy now (alongside fresh green veg), and tuck away the rest to watch sem's honeyed and magical evolution. Great entry bottle to a classic style / region, and at an amazing price.Tasted: 25 October 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
