Tenute Silvio Nardi Rosso di Montalcino 2023

Tuscany, ItalyThe Nardi Rosso comes from several cooler, northwest-facing estate vineyards in Montalcino, where the vines sit over marl and sandy soils. The winery completes fermentation, maceration, and ageing in stainless steel. It was a challenging year for growers, and only the most diligent made anything near high quality Rosso. The Nardi is riper in style than the Casale del Bosco, with smooth, warm red fruit. The palate is dry, with some sticky tannins, but otherwise pleasant and perfect for drinking now with a rich mushroom pasta dish. It is also available in half bottles.Tasted: 02 October 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
