Tenute Silvio Nardi Brunello di Montalcino Library Release 2006

Tuscany, ItalyThe '06 is in terrific shape, 20 years in, and speaks to the quality of the two sites where they grow the grapes, Casale del Bosco and Manachiara, as well as the quality winemaking and inherent pedigree of Brunello di Montalcino. The wine is fully mature but still charged with life, demonstrating how fruit and aggressive tannins can age with grace and perfection. The wine leans more toward figs and mushrooms than red fruit and spice. The texture is layered yet extremely silky, with notes of leather, balsamic, and forest floor that add complexity. It's drinking perfectly now. Find a friend and share a bottle with a wild mushroom pasta.Tasted: 02 October 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
