Township 7 Interlude Syrah 2024

United StatesInterlude is a different kind of blend, combining earthy aromatics and juicy red fruit from Sonoma with concentrated, ripe dark fruit and structured tannins from Washington. The mix yields a blueberry and blackberry profile with a peppercorn driven earthy undertone and a smooth texture. Try with five spice baby back ribs, or a mushroom farrotto. The fruit came from two distinct sites equally: Four Palms Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma, grown in sandy loam with shale and volcanic ash; and 50% from Double D Vineyard in the Rocky Reach AVA in Oroville, WA, where it grew in wind deposited sand and silt over cobblestone gravel. The wine was aged 18 months in 77% French and 23% American oak (none new).Tasted: 29 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
