Solvero Pinot Noir 2023
Garnet Valley, Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis young Summerland Pinot Noir comes from the Garnet Valley and Kozuki Family vineyards. It displays a dark cherry hue with subtle notes of blackberry and raspberry, complemented by vibrant acidity. The flavour is an intriguing mix of savoury cherry and a spicy blend of soy, balsamic, ginger, and dried desert herbs, underscored by a balanced, silky texture through the finish. Rich and powerful enough to pair with larger dishes like duck, mushroom risotto, or cedar plank salmon. There's no rush to enjoy this wine before 2030. It's a blend of clones 115, 667, 777, 828, and Pommard, fermented with 35% whole clusters and aged 15 months in French oak (25% new). Alcohol content is 13.4%, with only 450 cases produced.Tasted: 11 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery online/direct, select private retailers |
