Peak Cellars Terraces Dry Riesling 2022

Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe third edition of the Dry Riesling is made from estate grapes grown on low lying, heavier clay soils known as Block 20. Two superstar clones, 21 and 49, suggest a German/Alsace armistice, although the bright acidity reminds us we are in the Okanagan. A lengthy, cool fermentation yields a tart, juicy, bone dry palate with a touch of citrus, green apple, and a hint of petrol. On the palate, honeysuckle and lime zest mix with fresh cut herbs and a salty, dry finish. This one is definitely made for food. Fried chicken or calamari work here. Drink it or hold it, as it is going nowhere.Tasted: 19 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
