Peak Cellars Block 11 Riesling 2022

Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOff-dry rieslings are perhaps the most misunderstood wine in the business. As a friend of mine used to say, "too bad for them because it means more for us." Block 11 is a picture perfect off dry white with elevated aromatics that hint at floral jasmine and spicy pineapple. On the palate, the sugar disappears into a tropical citrus, guava affair that slides down easily, ending in a clean, fresh finish that's ready for the next sip. The sweet and sour profile makes it the perfect foil to sweet and sour dishes. Winery pairings suggest serving it with anything from spicy fare to light desserts. It is another feather in the cap of diversity of BC wine, and the price is right.Tasted: 19 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
