Val do Salnés, Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainOne of winemaker and albariño master Eulogio Pomares' many projects (most notably, Zarate), these grapes come from growers in Rias Baixas' sub area of Valle del Salnés, up to 300m, near the sea. The Bico da Ran line is all grower fruit, and more an introduction to the region, which this does smartly. Peach blossom, pear, and crunchy yellow apple flood a juicy, marine kissed palate, with a gentle hum of granite and wash of salinity.
