Falernia Amicizia Sangiovese Gran Reserva Titon Vineyard 2025

Valle del Elqui, ChileThis rare sangiovese is grown in Chile's Elqui Valley, 530 km north of Santiago and just 18 km east of the Pacific Ocean. The region is known for its cool maritime influence and stony soils. It offers a surprisingly fresh, if light, expression of sangiovese, perhaps reflecting the climate of Chile's furthest-north vineyards. It has a refined, youthful red-cherry nose with notes of wild raspberry, dried herbs, and rose petal. The palate is similar, with more sour cherry flavour, dried herbs, and subtle spice, with a medium-length finish. Serve with grilled meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, or aged pecorino to smooth out its youthful edges.Tasted: 05 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
