AmautaTorrontés 2024

Cafayate, Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaThe best Torrontés is always one grown at high altitude, like Amauta from Finca El Retiro, grown at 1,650 metres in the Cafayate Valley. It opens with floral aromatics, orange blossoms and citrus zest. The palate is dry and lively, with refreshing acidity and a strong bitter, lime-rind finish. It needs some equally strong food pairings like Thai curries or spicy vegetarian dishes.Tasted: 19 September 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
