McMinnville, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesThe Oregon Project began with the 2024 winter deep freeze in the Okanagan Valley, which left many BC wineries without fruit at harvest. Winemaker Shane Munn and viticulturist Kurt Simcic looked south to Oregon for replacement grapes that best matched the demanding Martin's Lane style. The Hyland opens with a more overt botrytis character, featuring honey, ginger, smoke, green apple, and orange, with a smoky, savoury finish.
