Tuscany, ItalyPetresco is the Cincioles flagship sangiovese, made from a single high-altitude block at 470 metres in Panzano's famed Conca d'Oro. It is organically farmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 24 months in a combination of large French oak casks and smaller barriques before getting extended bottle ageing. Precise and fragrant, this Tuscan red is a masterclass in Sangiovese, with wild red-fruit flavours, mushroom undertones, and an earthy, mineral finish. The tannins are polished and fine-grained, supportive without drying out the finish. Elegance over power is the winery's DNA, and this Petresco is a perfect illustration.
