Abruzzo, ItalyThe label has changed, and the wine is now NV (because it is appellated Vino Rosso) but this remains montepulciano from Abruzzo, and this bottling is from the 2025 vintage. From neighbouring organic fruit, this was native fermented and rested in stainless before bottling. Juicy plum, wild blackberries, balsam, and fragrant peonies are lifted with tight stony acidity, and corralled with pinchy tannins, closing this out with a dusting of pink peppercorn.
