CedarCreek Aspect Collection Block 4 Pinot Noir 2023

East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAspect Block 4 is situated on the upper slopes of CedarCreek's Home Block Vineyard. The vines are rooted in sandy loam soils that drain well and naturally restrict vigour, leading to small bunches, smaller berries, and concentrated fruit. The nose blends dark cherry, strawberry compote, and baking spice, with hints of licorice and forest floor. The palate is rich and structured, with beautiful concentration without going over the top. Black and blue fruits and savoury earth soak up the toasted oak and round the tannins. The finish is long, persistent, and mineral driven, exactly what you want in an ageable, complex single block pinot. This was harvested in four separate parts of the block independently to capture optimal ripeness. It was wild fermented and aged in concrete and French oak for 14 months. Buy and hold, or serve with rich dishes like duck breast with cherry reduction, Roast quail or pheasant, or a fall mushroom risotto.Tasted: 20 August 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
