Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis boutique Beamsville-based label is a new project from Corey Mio and his wife Lena. This Marsanne, from their home vineyard in Lincoln Lakeshore, is a co-ferment with 15% viognier. It was whole cluster pressed, cold settled, and racked to neutral French barriques and 1 new puncheon for native ferment and full MLF. It remained in barrel 11 months on lees with regular bâtonnage. Fragrant white florals, white peach, pear, and anise is woven through the medium bodied palate, with a lime peel lift, and subtle toast spicing.
