Tuscany, ItalyBaron Francesco Ricasoli is the 32nd generation family member to live on these Tuscan lands, and caretake the ancient Brolio castle. Francesco is carrying on the dream and on with the vision that his ancestor first began 875 years ago. This brand new to market chardonnay is from sandy rocky soils, and was very cold macerated to set the fragrance before a cool stainless ferment over 1 month, filled by 6 months in 500L aged tonneaux. Pouring a deeper yellow hue, this fuller white carries lemon curd, white peach, tangerine, and yellow plum along the palate, mingled with wood spice and lees, though a stony finish.
