Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe inaugural Modesta Cabernet Franc estate release is a juicy affair with pure raspberry and blackberry, with a dash of cassis and savoury dried herbs. Modesta style is, to be frank, modest, allowing the wine to show off its cool climate address and freshness. The tannins are lightly structural but, in the end, hardly noticeable.
