Valréas, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceThis blend of 60% grenache / 40% syrah comes from 50 year old vines on the pebbly marl soils of Valréas, in the CdR. Wild blackberry, dusky black plum, crushed florals swirl on the stony palate, with ample sticky tannins framing, and a lingering pepperiness on the finish.
