Soave, Verona, Veneto, ItalyDuring the 1960's, Giuseppe Inama, the estate’s founder, began to purchase small plots of vineyards in the heart of the Soave Classico. Today the winery has 30 hectares across the region's volcanic soils. This, their classic Classico, was vinified in stainless to preserve garganega's fresh fruit. The destemmed fruit macerated up to 8 hours before fermentation and a brief rest in stainless. Melon, elderflower, and grapefruit sail through this sleek, stony white, with a fine lees bed to buffer, and a lingering fine buzz on the finish.
