Hajszan-Neumann Nussberg Grüner Veltliner 2024

Wien (Vienna), AustriaNow with a new label, this is the same Nussberg GV we've grown to love from Vienna's Hajszan-Neumann. The winery is located at the foot of the Nussberg and the district of Grinzing, with 20 hectares of certified biodynamic vineyards spread across the region's mineral-rich, weathered limestone soils. This cuvée comes from the cooler Weisleiten and Haarlocke vineyards. After a short 6 hour maceration on skins, this was native fermented in stainless, where it remained until the following spring. Bright green apple, white grapefruit, and gooseberry sail through a svelte palate, with a buzzy stony underlay, and a tangerine twist on the zesty finish. Fresh and bright and built for food, especially asparagus and green veg.Tasted: 28 July 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
