Gerard Bertrand Esprit de Cote des Roses Brut Rosé NV

Sud de France, FranceThis new bubbly release in the Cote des Roses line uses the iconic rose imprinted glass base as others in the line. This charmat method pink blends pinot noir, grenache, and chardonnay from the foothills of the Pyrenees and Cévennes, in the south of France's limestone, schist, and gravels. The base wines are blended with reserve rosé wines aged in barrel before heading to tank for secondary ferment. Pouring a pale hue, with very gentle effervescence, this dry pink streams subtle strawberry, cherry blossoms, and orange peel, with a sharpened bitter rhubarb twist to close the finish. Chill well and crack now with canapés, or in a sparkling rosé Kir Royale.Tasted: 04 July 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
