Domane Wachau Grüner Veltliner Selection 2024

Wachau, Niederösterreich, Weinland Österreich, AustriaDomäne Wachau is a true co.op success story, a not-for-profit co.op with 200 growers doing all of the work of the company, sharing their collective 2000 plots. It's the largest certified organic estate in Austria, and it's the backbone of the iconic Wachau region. For this GV Selection, grapes come from across the Wachau, predominantly surrounding the villages of Weissenkirchen, Spitz, Dürnstein, Rossatz-Arnsdorf and Mautern. This was fermented cool in stainless, where it remained on fine lees until bottling. Crunchy green apple, tangerine flood a bright, youthful, stony palate, with a fine slick of lees and a dusting of white pepper. Friendly and accessible, and an excellent introduction to the Wachau.Tasted: 28 July 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
