Château Pesquié Chardonnay 2025
Sud de France, FranceIn the early 1990s, Paul Chaudière planted three hectares of Chardonnay at the foot of Mont Ventoux to prove how much freshness the estate’s limestone soils could deliver. Fred and Alex Chaudière have carried that idea forward, drawing on select high-altitude parcels for this distinctive varietal bottling. Grown organically between 250 and 350 metres, the fruit is fermented and aged in stainless steel, yielding a clean, precise, Euro-lean style of chardonnay with bright acidity and good length. White flowers lead the nose, followed by white fruit, citrus, and mineral notes on the palate. Fresh, clean, and food-friendly, it recalls a modern Mâcon in style.Tasted: 01 July 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $24.99 | 750ml | not in the market; estimated B.C. pricing in private retaill. |
