Adega on 45th Malbec Merlot 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis label earned 90 points at the National Wine Awards and a silver medal. The 54% malbec and 46% merlot blend is fruit forward with black plums and blueberries that penetrates the mid-palate, and layered ripe dark fruit to a spicy finish. The tannins are soft, and the fruit : acid ratio is balanced, making the wine accessible now with most grilled meats. The winery likes it with black pepper steak or grilled portobello mushrooms with herbs.
