Marche, ItalyThe Vecchie Vigne is a premium bottling of the estate's classic Casal di Serra, with organic fruit exclusively from their oldest historical vines (40+ years), rooted in deep clay loams on the Montecarotto farm. This was native fermented in stainless (no MLF), before resting 10 months prior to bottling, and a further rest prior to release. Very concentrated, this fuller bodied verdicchio draws textural tangerine, grapefruit, apricot, and lemon verbena across a fine boned frame, with a great slick of lees and a super saline finish.
