Sunnybrae Ortega 2025

Shuswap, British Columbia, CanadaA German breeder created Ortega in 1948 by crossing Müller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe, and named it after the Spanish poet and philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. It is an early ripener, which helps it grow as far north as it does in the Shuswap at the northern end of the Okanagan region. Its off-dry style makes this Shuswap sipper a perfect wine to enjoy on a sunny patio. It is aromatic and bright, with litchi, yellow apple and pear, with a dash of bitterness to even it all out in the finish. Ready to drink.Tasted: 21 June 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
