Seven Stars Rigel Fool's Gold Vineyard 2023
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRigel is the most floral and aromatic of their seven cuvées. Named for the seventh brightest star in the night sky and one of its youngest, it joins a small but growing group of British Columbia sparkling wines crafted entirely from riesling. The nose is immediately inviting, blending lime blossom, warm croissant, and wet stone aromas. Fresh lemon and citrus dominate the palate, delivered in a style that is both round and lively, with crisp acidity carrying the finish. An excellent aperitif, it also highlights riesling's celebrated versatility at the table. All Seven Stars sparkling wines are made using the traditional method, with the second fermentation occurring in the bottle.
