Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2025 Jagged Rock Gamay does 'Stand Apart' from many wines, including the classic renditions of Beaujolais, the home of Gamay. That said, it opens with an inviting mix of soft, round, spicy dark red fruit, suggesting it is more of a Cru-style Gamay, albeit with some Merlot richness and weight. We are big fans of the Jagged Rock Vineyard, which has produced amazing and diverse wines, switching effortlessly between red and white. Expect a round, dense, sweet, red, spicy black fruit entry with a plummy, peppery underside and a stony mineral finish.
