Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRed Barn is a quirky little winery that challenges winemaking and winegrowing conventions in the best way. Most, if not all, of its wines are fermented and aged in concrete. This unusual chardonnay and sauvignon blanc blend is made with minimal intervention. The sauvignon yields a crisp, fresh white with bright acidity, while chardonnay adds weight and a creamy texture. Grapefruit, pear, and sea salt point to the pedigree of Jagged Rock Vineyard, now being replanted after the deep freeze.
