Kelley Fox Mirabai Pinot Noir 2023

Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesKelley Fox Wines is a small Oregon winery created in 2007 by Kelley Fox along with her father, Gerson "Gus" Stearns. Kelley is a long time Oregon winemaker, and has access to fantastic vineyards for her small-lots project. This level of pretty takes one directly to the Dundee Hills, and in this case a mix of 4 organic / biodynamic vineyards' Pommard clones, planted from 1974 through 1991 in the region's characteristic red volcanic / alluvial soils. All lots were native fermented (15% whole cluster) over 2-3 weeks before heading to neutral French barrel for 10 months. Perfumed strawberry, raspberry sail along the silky and elegant palate, with long, fine grained tannins, and lofted acidity taking this along the medium body to a snappy, subtly spiced finish. Great typicity here.Tasted: 17 June 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
