Inama Carbonare Soave Classico 2023
Monte Carbonare, Verona, Veneto, ItalyHow much do I like this wine? A lot. There is Soave, and then there is serious Soave. Inama is certainly one of the benchmark producers in the region, as evidenced by this entirely garganega version. The nose is awash in citrus peel, white flowers, crushed stone and flinty minerals. The palate is equally sleek, with a linear, vibrant acidity and a deep mineral core that supports a saline mix of lemon, grapefruit, and green apple through to a clean, snappy finish. Tension and freshness in one package make this a winner. Drink now through 2030 and beyond. It is currently reduced $11 to $39.97 until August 29.
