Horseshoe Cellars Kelson Block Riesling 2024
Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaWhat began as a passion project in a backyard shed and makeshift fermentation room has grown into a full-fledged virtual winery, exploring all lots from vineyard sites across Niagara. This riesling comes of the Kelson Block of Grimsby Hillside Vineyard, in VQA Lincoln Lakeshore. This was whole bunch pressed and settled over 2 days before a long, cool ferment in stainless. The wine then remained on its fine lees for 4 months before racking and fining. Off-dry and juicy, with fresh pear and peach yogurt, and subtle ginger spicing.
