Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2025 Heritage Pinot Gris is a vibrant, complex white that looks a bit like a rosé, with its pale Provençal salmon hue. The palate is bright, with tropical citrus, a textured mid-palate with hints of vanilla, and a moderately dry, food-friendly finish. This edition blends fruit from Howe and Grandflora Vineyards on the Naramata Bench. It spent five months in Tokaji oak barrels and is finished clean under screwcap. This is a style I can always get behind: zero fruit salad and a touch of lees for complexity.
